Thanks friend. you are right that Listening plays a great role in learning English. Unfortunately the current syllabuses taught in Sudanese schools teach nothing about listening. That is to say listening practice is completely neglected in our syllabuses. basically and originally, a language is used for communication ( listening and speaking).
